来基本上所有的课都重新上了一遍的吗？
今天LG非常受打击。他是加拿大UBC master and ph.d. 康乃尔大学post doc in plant
pathology,修过很多的biology, chemistry之类的课，ECC课程认证后，和University
of Pacific联系，居然只有general biology and general chemsitry. physics算数
，他还需重新到社区大学修organic chemstry and microbiology（他成天做的就是
microbiology），我就开玩笑，你的qualification估计到社区大学去教课都可以了（
这个笑话，因为看到我们这里社区大学成天都在找人，LG都不去申请）。然后就是不是
除了english composition之类必须在美国上的课以外，还要求修28个学分的历史艺术
文课之类的课吧，如果有美国本科学历的就不用修了。这个他也需要修，虽然他本科修
了这些课的，但是学校的解释是外国的课 | s**4

Diff schools have diff requirements.there were schools that didn't require
history...back then. but if they are required, i don't think there is a way
to get around it. pharmacy schools are pretty strict on prereqs.

appreciation, indian literature, and so on. But I do not have to retake the
science courses.
If your LG can be a faculty in the community college, maybe he should apply. | q****i
发帖数: 32 | 4 it depends on different schools. besides the evaluation, communication with
the admission officers might be helpful. you may qualify a waiver on "
organic chemistry" or "microbiology" if you convince them that those are
your specialty and are involved in your everyday work.
as for art courses, english composition/literature/speech are the common
ones have to be done.

Well, Pharm.D is just one option. He is also applying for funding to do
research on allergy. If he gets big
funding or get a faculty job, he will not go to pharm. d. It's just a
surprise that he has to re-take science
courses.
