for about 8 years or so with treatment
An autologous bone marrow transplant can make the patient live longer, but
it cannot cure the disease
In terms of drugs, thalidomide and dexamethasone are usually combined as the
initial therapy, and salvage therapy contains cyclophosphamide pulse
therapy, steroid, and vortezamab
