发帖数: 491 | 2 the thing is to get into the pharmD program. I talked to a pharmaceutics
prof about that before I applied. He told me to talk to him after I get in,
and he'd love to recruit someone in the pharmd program. it is 2-3 years in
additional to the pharmD program and the tuition is covered. I guess it is
not hard to do PharmD/phD once you are in pharmacy, since not a lot of
people would spend that extra years.

发帖数: 352 | 3 Still I think different school has different requirements.
In my school it is 3.5 to 4 more years in additional to pharmacy school even
if you want to start taking some phD classes during pharmacy school and do
research in summer. tuition will not be paid until you graduate from pharmD
program and only focus on research. So for me, it is not a good deal.
I think no matter what, you have to get in pharmacy school first then join
the pharmD/PhD program. |

发帖数: 167 | 5 It depends. But most of PharmD/PhDs in our school go to drug stores. But I
knew one to do postdoc temporarily because of family issues. And now, she'
s in drug stores too. It's really too frustrate to stay in academia at this
time!
