科要看一下大學研究所Pharmacy的排名？
我在NY就讀，是不是在NY州或NY市的藥學院學習，畢業后容易在NY找到工作？還是外州
排名高的大學畢業回NY好找工作？
NY的st johns有一個6年的Pharm.D Program，不知道這個Program怎么樣？
我是要去一個一般大學學習4年本科然後在轉到好的藥學院好，還是直接念6年的
Program畢業好？
請問這幾所學校怎么樣？我想讀pharmacy，選藥學院比較看重地理位置還是學術研究？

If so, then get into the prepharm program in one of the above colleges.
Talking about your future, it is better that you decide where you want to be
. However, I have heard that NJ and NYC job market is not good at all, due
to too many graduates. After 6 more years, things can be worse if no new job
markets for pharmacists and pharmacy schools keep pumping out big classes.

发帖数: 491 | 4 the best option is to take pre-pharmacy during your high school years as
much as possible. and when you get into a college, finish them up asap, and
apply asap. really, the school does not really matter.
the 6 year pharmacy program might be a good option too. but those usually
are very competitive.
I don't really agree with upstairs opinion on the job market. Maybe the
market is getting saturated with graduates, however, remember that the turn
over of position is always pretty high. |

schools location or the the schools rank? if i wanna look for a job in NY,
getting into a pharmacy college which located in NY is that better than
getting into a high rank pharmacy college which located in other states?
Choosing any pharmacy school does not really matter for looking for a job???

these pharmacy college like St.Johns, Albany College of Pharmacy, SUNY at
Buffalo St.Johns, Albany College of Pharmacy, SUNY at Buffalo which located
in NY state are not high rank pharmacy college
but those high rank pharmacy college like UT,U of Kentucky,UM and Purdue are
far away my home...
i have about no idea about choosing a high rank pharmacy college or pharmacy
college in NY.
does the pharmacy college rank matter for choosing a job in N |

发帖数: 491 | 8 when you are applying, apply for different kinds of schools. Pick out some
big research type schools, some smaller private schools. Of course the
highly ranked schools with low tuition are the best. However, the
application process is very competitive. So make sure you apply to a variety
of schools.
I would say location is the most important thing. If I know where I am going
to stay after I graduate, I would definitely choose the school in my city
if that is a choice. Pharmacy is a small world, |

规划，现在的问题是我不知道选择药剂学校关键是看学校排名还是要看地理位置，所以
比较矛盾
现在已经申请的学校有：St.John's University，Purdue University，lbany College
of Pharmacy，University of the Sciences in Philadelphia，Massachusetts
College of Pharmacy Boston。
因为都在NY附近，离家也比较近一些，但这些学校排名都不是很高，我不知道以后找工
作的话，雇主会看重学校排名还是地理位置。。。

发帖数: 1009 | 10 just FYI, Purdue isn't very close to NY.... and its rank should still be
pretty good though it has probably fallen out of the top 5 in the past few
years. Its admission is still quite competitive. Class of 2012 had 1060
applicants with 160 accepted.

on pharmcas if I still remember it correctly.
so you have a list already, then go ahead and apply to see what school you
are accepted to. By weighing the location, tuition, room and broad, part
time job opportunity and quality of the curriculum, you will make a good
decision for yourself.

本人身在纽约，考虑到家庭环境准备留在NYC，St.Johns，LIU，SUNY-Bufflao是比较实
际的三个学校 |

impressed at all. i guess my biggest concern back then was it seemed like I
wouldn't have a life there. Everything was just so rural.If you are from NYC

里名校毕业的pharmD也没什么区别。
NY St Johns的六年program，lz最好和念过或者正在念的朋友谈一下。我有一个学生去
念了半年就quit回家了。现在念本科，准备申请4年pharmd program。各方面很
competitive的一个女孩子，她说一个是没有life，一个学校的气氛不好，班里quit的
学生好像好几个。。。 |
