with built-in pocket wizard trigger, but a little too big for me. These
meters are good like forever, and is easy to resale. However, you can not
100% rely on meter. meter is trying to expose 18% grey correctly. so if your
target has darker or lighter skin, you will still need to adjust exposure. |

发帖数: 1754 | 9 it can meter flash. basically, you set meter in flash meter mode, press
meter bottom, then go fire flash, or if you have cable connect flash, and
meter, it will fire when you press meter.
unfortunately, this cannot trigger flash wirelessly. 358 will be the choice
if you meter flash a lot. |

发帖数: 387 | 20 Watched this creativeLIVE workshop on light meter. The most confusing thing
to me was that he said incident light meter will give correct exposure only
if the subject is 18% gray, therefore overexpose dark tones and underexpose
light tones. To me this is what reflective meter will do, incident meter
measures the luminance falls on the subject, don't care what the subject is.
To my understanding, an incident-light meter will cause a medium tone to be
recorded as a medium tone, and a reflected-light meter will cause whatever
is metered to be recorded as a medium tone, assuming they are calibrated
properly.
Am I missing something, I think this is the most important thing when using
light meter.
