everything is in working order, except the first, inner piece of glass is
very slightly loose (NOT CRACKED, just loose in the mounting), and moves
just enough to create a slight haze in the image when you're at/near 200mm,
losing sharp focus. Would be fine for a hobbyist as-is, but not good enough
for my professional images. Canon quoted $800 to repair it, which is way
more than I care to spend on a lens I bought new, but might be worth it to
someone who buys it used.
