发帖数: 2436 | 20 You are shooting studio product photos, not flying bugs, so AF speed or
weight is not a factor. You are shooting studio product photos, the largest
aperture may be 8, so, max aperture is not a factor. It is likely you will
only shoot using MF in manual mode.
You need good IQ, 180mm is not worse than any of the three 100mm. You need
large magnification ratio, which 180mm is better than zeiss. You need more
reach since 180mm gives you more working distance than the 100mm(L or non L)
. And the 180mm at the same aperture will have more blurring in bokeh.
I shoot beer bottles and perfume bottles in a studio setting for clients. I
used to have both 180mm and 100L. After a while I sold the 100L.
However, if you are just a causal user or shoot photos for ebay stores, a
used original 100mm macro is more than sufficient. As the others noted, the
lighting is far more important in your setting. It's very hard to get the
ideal effects using only natural lighting or reflectors.
