Have a couple questions:
-Adaptor ring, is there a stepping ring for this? Would you recommend? Have
a 72 and a 77mm lens.
-Filters: NDGs 4X4 or 4X6? The 4X6 can be moved but more expensive, overall
what do people use?
Thanks!
3412 | 3 Thanks for the reply!
What is 挂历?
So the step ring goes on the 72mm lens, and the lee adaptor 77mm goes on the
step ring, and the filter holder goes on the adaptor? Lord...
I am thinking of getting the following to start with:
-Lee FK filter holder
-adaptor ring 77mm
-ND grads 4X6, 0.9 hard and 0.6 soft
any thought?
Thanks so much! | J********o 发帖数: 17447 | 4 Basically yes..
拍挂历的是给风光摄影师的俗称..
你最近回国么? 可以回国买Progrey的镜架, 口碑不错

| o**s 发帖数: 3412 | 5 No 回国. I should probably stick with Lee in case I am a total failure or
give up, can resell.
My gears are pretty basic, entry level crop sldr, entry level lenses, $40
tripod, screw in polarizer...
Seems like a big jump to get those filters but I really want to, looking at
those photos taken with filters. Only wish people always include the exif
info so we newbie can learn. | J********o 发帖数: 17447 | 6 What you can learn from will not be revealed in EXIF info.
Buy a new tripod first, buy a Tokina 11-16, then buy some filters.
Maybe you can start from Hitech filters, much cheaper.

| o**s 发帖数: 3412 | 7 a $600 tripod? tempting...
Have the Tokina 12-24 already :( and a Sigma 17-70m f2.8-4 on t3i. No plan
on lens/camera upgrade for now, should be okay for a while until photos leap
a step forward.
I feel the filters will enable me to create images won't be possible
otherwise, tripod, even the $40 is okay for good weather and a lot of
locations?
