I am sending you this email to express my serious concerns regarding the
race discrimination xx has experienced from his classmate, xx, in the past
several weeks. xx's rude behavior and language has greatly hurt xx's feeling
. I sincerely hope that you could help us resolve the issue.
In the past several weeks, xx has told me multiple times that xx said
something very rude to Chinese in front of him and some other students in
the class. For example, he said"Chinese is disgusting," "Chinese poo on
their hands." When he talked about Chinese, he made very bad faces in front
of xx and other students. When xx shared our culture food with the
classmates on the past Monday, xx threw it away in front of xx. All of these
have seriously hurt xx's feeling. And he sits right across xx. It looks
like he offends xx on a daily basis.
I like xx because I know the school respect the diversified culture. I have
been in the United States for more than 10 years, but I have never
experienced such a direct and rude race discrimination, but now my 7 year
old son experiences it. I am very upset and feel sorry about this. I cannot
imagine how a 7 year old kid say such rude words and do such mean things. I
always teach my son to respect others and to acknowledge the difference
between different people.
Race discrimination is intolerable! I sincerely hope that you could stop the
discrimination. Your kindly help would be greatly appreciated.

The lack of action from the school administrator has caused serious
emotional damage to my child and my family. My child who is normally
extroverted has already shown symptoms of psychological trauma. If the
school does not take any immediate action it leaves me no option but to file
law suit against the parent of XX, the teacher, the school district for
punitive damages in a court of law. |
