my sample is 3*7 mm^2
and the detector area is 10*10mm^2
the distance between sample and detector is 2mm
how can I calculate the solid angle the detector coverd, any formular?
does it depend on the sample size or I can use a point for the sample?
try to google to find answers, more and more confused...
