I have a question to experienced people. I submitted a paper a month ago.
Two referees were unable to report. Did anyone meet such a case? I wrote a
letter to Editors suggesting two referees who are experts in my research
area. Do you think the Editors will send the paper to the referees that I
recommended?

recommended.
I once had a paper to PRL, and it turns out 1 unable, 1 negative, so refused
. Then I turn to EPL, and got 1 unable, 1 no reply, 1 positive, and finally
got published. You see, unable often appears. |
