摄影师Andreas Franke雇佣了一支潜水探险队，潜入距离西礁岛4英里处，水下100英尺
的“范登堡号” （USNS General Hoyt S. Vandenberg）沉船遗迹处，为其创作数码合
成照片布展。
该系列作品命名为“Life below the Surface”（海底人生），是为了纪念被销毁
的曾在二战争中立下汗马功劳的美军导弹跟踪舰“范登堡号”而创作。照片取景自荒废
的沉船，通过超现实的手法，在虚构的水下世界中重现了旧时代的日常景观。
