up in the air!
Today I climbed up to 5000AGL and practiced power-on stall. When
one wing dropped, I let the nose dip but delayed pulling back power,
hoping to spin a turn or two before recovering. However after only
half a turn the plane stopped turning. Somehow I couldn't seem to
get the C-152 to spin any longer than half a turn. The plane did
pick up speed though, a lot of speed. Nose-dive is quite exciting. |

I try to fly my plane at least every two weeks to keep corrosion in check,
good weather is difficult to find though, either too cold or too windy or
too much snow on the ground.

I find myself losing the "feel-of-the-pants" and the sight picture if
I don't fly for a few weeks.

Does this mean that I can not land a plane any more? Do I need to fly some
simulator before touch a real one?

发帖数: 3395 | 5 2 months is fine. I'd find yourself a bit rusty after a while.
Wouldn't be a bad idea to rent an instructor for the first hour
you go out. I don't think a simulator is good enough. Sometimes
simulator is harder to land. :)
