Palo Alto 和 Reid Hillview 机场更适合初学者 |

发帖数: 440 | 9 there's nothing wrong with cross wind. the ability to TOAL with x-wind gives
people more flexibility and add more safety cushion.
compared with RHV and PAO, SQL is closer to the Bravo. but again it gives
student pilot a good way to understand what's needed for Bravo. pilots from
central valley often don't have the guts to even get close the Charlie.
PAO is small and crowded. sometimes there're a whole bunch of planes waiting
to take off. burning the hobbs time on taxiway is a waste of money.

I can see why people can disagree on this.
I think it's better to start people off in a calmer airport, and then they
can fly to x-wind airports later into their training.
