It true that the rule has been changed a little (effectively Sept. 1st), but
not in the way you describe that players say.
The wording of the rule is changed so that an accidental “double-touch” in
one continuous strike is not a fault anymore.
This is in line with other sports like tennis and badminton.
The new wording is as probably as follows:
2.10.1 Unless the rally is a let, a player shall score a point . . .
2.10.1.6 if an opponent deliberatel |
