much you can improve your forehand, backhand, footwork, etc.), predict how
much time can be dedicated to table tennis, estimate the potential
experience that you can get based on your time and your club players’
rating, and then make an estimation on your potentials to reach USATT rating:
1) The best rating that you potentially get
2) the satisfying rating that you are happy with.
Of course, it is reasonable that you may over-estimate or under-estimate your potentials. This is the same that you may look-down upon or look-high on some other guys. |

比如说你知道你的是2400，但是需要你fulltime练4年才能到，你愿意吗？
我不愿意
就算是2700我也不愿意，如果是world top10还差不多，但那是不可能的，当然2700都是不可能的，2400都很玄乎

play, 一般也没有人能赢得了我，可是那有意思吗
我觉得乒乓的最大快乐就是来自和自己水平接近的打, 而这在任何档次都是可以得到的
，不管你是1100还是2100，还是2400.
自然在高处风景确实不一样--但在我看来，出除非到world top 10，否则那种笑傲江湖
的感觉是不可能有的。就好比，来个国二队的横扫美国，但他们心里明白能虐他们的还
是一大把。

，只是你”最佳表演“的一个负产品而已。

既然无所谓，干嘛要眼红别人拿着1800+的奖杯，居然敢比拿过2100奖杯的那么能张扬
，能得瑟？不用比喻什么full time 打球, 这都是太极端的例子，业余选手都有自己的
其他职业，谁也不可能抱那么高的期望值，傻子才会琢磨自己能不能奔2400呢。
运动的快感，分好几种：
第一种就是大家说的，与世无争（没考上大学的人也可以说自己与世无争），这个无争
，如果从老美嘴里说出来，我倒信，但在华人嘴里，我更愿相信，是自己上不去，然后
才自嘲一句：我不去争嘛。 你即使真争了，你争得到吗？
第二种是：曾经有过的成绩，也比没有过的要好。暴发户也罢，功利心也罢，只要有过
的，就说明到达过那个位置，既然都鄙视暴发户，那还在这bso打过了某某某干嘛？ 你
也不是回回都打败垃圾风的呀，就是曾经打败过，也是一种荣誉嘛
第三种，才是真正的境界，就是去玩玩的。这种人根本就不参加比赛的，我真见过好几
个高手，真没有rating的。
这个版，根本就没有不争的球友，一个都没有，每天/每个人都在争。

1600-1700的，都上了我的黑名单，我就是要把他们都灭了，这些人现在都灭得差不多

可是任重而道远，还有像母蹄，五毒，性感，南大一号这样的还混得好好的，我心里怨
气难消，总有一天，要把他们都灭了。

一比，连续好几天每天都可以做自己最喜欢的事，这个不好玩什么才好玩？ 我开车去
San Diego打比赛，去Las Vegas打National, 飞去Florida和MIchigan打US Open, 为什
么？ 好玩啦。就算Local的Tourney，整个周末某天玩一天，别的啥都不想，还有比这
更过瘾的事吗？
你说的那些个“根本就不参加比赛”的有“真正境界”的“高手”，很多是因为“怕输
”才不出去比赛的，因为山外有山人外有人，出去比赛会碰上比他更高的“手”，他就

内因也就是自身条件，包括心理素质、是否专注、协调性、速度、反应、感觉等个体内
部因素。
外因包括训练水平、比赛水平。愿不愿意花时间练球和比赛，有没有高人指点。
记得二十年前，有个朋友是八一越野摩托车队的主教练，曾经问过他如何挑选队员。他
说，有些小孩是胆小的狮子，有些是胆大的绵羊。要选那些胆小的狮子，不能选胆大的
绵羊。
觉得他说得有道理。。。。。。

feeling. Everyone has his/her own feeling. There is no correct or wrong on
how you or he feels it since you and he has the freedom to do feel whatever
you or he likes. There is no agreement or disagreement since there is no
correct or wrong. If you agree with another’s feeling, this only says that
you both feel the same, but this does mean that it is correct or wrong.
In conclusion, please feel free to have any kind of feeling: happy,

improved in the past period of time.
your goal to beat your company's hard bat player is same as ours,

rating is nothing, it is just a number which could estimate our levels.

play guys around their levels in clubs.
last week, i played 7 matches in club, i won all, even though there
are 2-3 guys better than me, i never had chance to play them...

totally agree, we share the same feeling about competition, but
for me, gym is my religion, TT is just a good dish from a magnificent
meal.

fields, so even though we are busy, we can choose one as main hobby at
certain time for improvement, we can always switch back to other one
when we get bored.
This is the biggest advantage of hobby against profession.

fitness. So, TT playing time is limited.
