“Please could you stop talking and be quiet, you are spoiling my enjoyment
of the tournament”, came the angry comment from a spectator at the ITTF Pro
Tour Grand Finals in London.
“Sorry”, came the reply. “But I’m the television commentator!”

In Need of a Racket
Once again at the ITTF Pro Tour Grand Finals; Don Parker, the television
commentator when off air, was asked a question which left him quite stunned.
“Why don’t the players have their own bats?” was the question.
“But they do have their own bats”, came the reply.
“No they don’t; before they start to play a man brings the bats to the
players at the table in a paper bag.” |
