"My previous RPB looping has a factor, i.e., lifting forward factor due to
handling under-spin balls, which factor is wrong and which is the reason of
un-consistency because lifting will cause errors due to the different speed
and spin of the coming ball so that it is difficult to produce a perfect
lifting to counter the back-spin."

when looping backspin balls, some people try to lift the ball a little bit
to counter backspin. Lifting itself sometime works but it is difficult to
handle the balls with different spins and speeds: for example: if it is
heavy backspin, you need to lift more; if it is less backspin, you need to
lift less. But when you make a bad judgment by lifting more for less
backspin, the returned ball will go off the table or too high. The real
problem is that lifting is a bad habit. You should brash/brace the ball
instead of lifting the ball.

The difference of lifting and brash/brace is that brash/brace is much
thinner when hitting the skin of the ball.

Let me give you another explanation about lifting and brushing,
To have a consistent backhand with penholder, the feeling of brushing is ver
y important. To practice, get a ball, throw it into the sky. when the ball f
alls down, brush it with your racket as strongly as you can and try to hit i
n different directions (no table needed), you can feel that the ball stays o
n your racket for a small amount of time, and your racket embraces the ball
and then throws it out, That's the feeling you should have when you loop an
under-spin ball using your backhand.
Despite the varieties we have in standing positions, body postures or moveme
nts, if they can help you to have this brushing feeling, they are effective.
I saw many people forgot this crucial element after they tried to copy fro
m other people's actions or even sometimes after learning from coach.
To differentiate the lifting and brushing, let's come back to our body parts
,fore arm and upper arm. One mistake people usually like to make is to lift
the whole fore arm and upper arm up to brush the ball. This lifting also br
ushes the ball, but the spins it produces is very weak and cannot count back
a strong under-spin ball. the reason is that this is a translation movement
and hard to make your racket reach a high speed within allowed body space,
in addition, this movement makes you hard use the force from your waist and
other body, and thus no way to handle a strong under-spin.
The right brushing should set your upper arm without movement and rotate you
r forearm. The whole movement should be look like a rotation. To counter-bac
k a strong under-spin, you can also sink and close your body and then lift u
p and open your whole body when brushing the ball.
However, to counter a strong under-spin, brushing it as thinly as possible i
s not a good choice. The reason is that we usually use a non-sticky Japanese
rubber and sponge in our backhand. To effectively take advantage of a Japan
ese sponge, hitting the ball and making the sponge sink to wrap the ball is
very important to produce a strong spin.

For forehand, most people can handle better.
Lifting issues are applied to some shakehand players' backhand.
