反观罗姆尼，对外事务观点上莽撞而不务实，经济计划和经济目标之前有点南辕北撤，
实难自圆其说，在处事和意识形态上十分机会主义，过多向在宗教种族和移民问题上的
极右翼势力妥协。
在看近几年的共和党，问题太多，宣传的很多政策方针和理念过于偏激，甚至有失公允
，以至于缺点胜于其优点。
希望奥巴马当选后，激发共和党自审回归理性，四年后美国的竞选才更令人信服。 |

天提早到来。

社会福利总是要有的，量的问题。IRS公布的收入最高的400人的税率17%，远低于我们
这些硅工的税率，这个是质的问题。
不过我反对共和党主要是基于他们食古不化的宗教价值观。21 世纪了，坚信地球只有
几千年历史的弱智还能成为共和党的副总统人选，对生物科学一无所知的总统还可以堂
而皇之地限制正常的生物学研究，无语啊。

Is this a typical liberal logic?
After 4 years, no matter how much you blame Bush, if unemployment is still
around 8, that is definitely not a good economical policy.
Romney may have to tailor his economical plan trying to attract voters,
what he would do as a president may be quite different.
Between a 夸夸其谈的竞选演说家 and a businessman with successful experiences
of running a shaky Olympic and governorship, I'd trust Romney a lot
better.
Obama's win on large part is due to demographic change. If 95% black, 75%
Hispanics, 80% Jews, 60% Asians, majority of welfare recipients or so called
47% non-tax payers, plus 60% female voters side with big government
democrats, it is not easy to lose unless Obama really screwed up.

and harder unless the whole nation is on the verge of economical collapse.
The only hope for republican is to attract Hispanics voters, as Hispanics
has already surpassed black population and continues expanding in a fast
pace. This means, republican needs to adopt an open immigration policy
including those illegal immigrants, which is against their base ideology.
In other words, whoever republican comes up as a candidate 4 years later,
their chance is very slim unless something disastrous happens.

Asian as a minority, most of them are in middle class, shares relative high
percentage of tax burden while somehow with no political representation.
Asian is a minority but with no minority benefit, sometimes even a victim. A
example is AA. You probably aware in university enrollment, Asian is
excluded by AA policy that favors black and Latino, right?

i agree with this point, as a voter, each will vote the one he/she
agrees with more, it was the very first time i got involved with
the campaign when i listened to Bill Clinton's talk in front of
Rackham Graduate School in cold wind at the end of Nov., 1991.
4 years later, when i graduated, Hillary Clinton gave a speech in
our graduation ceremony since UM gave her an honorary law Phd
degree.
Mitt Romney is just a sneaky businessman, from a very rich family,
personally i like Obama a lot more than Romney. Romney reminded me
of small Bush a lot whom i didn't like.
