1. Parking (street parking is likely both competitive and unsafe next to
your humble house or apartment)
2. Insurance (you've got to live in an neighborhood with a "high-class" zip
code such as Long Island, Westchester, etc., to pay an affordable premium)
3. Fuel expenses (this also applies in sunny and enviable California)
4. Safety concerns (accident rates are high, driving in NY is definitely not
a stroll in your backyard)

已经有钱和慢慢通过精算变得有钱的华人都有。上次在SFO候机和清洁工华人聊了几分
中，人家居然在南湾买了房子，非常善于经营的人，没有读过许多没有用的书。
