Here we go, Batman, here we go — to Heinz Field.
Thousands of movie extras are being sought for a football stadium scene
being filmed Aug. 6 at the home of the Steelers for the Batman sequel, "The
Dark Knight Rises" due out next year.
The extras will be cast as fans attending a game between the fictional
Gotham Rogues and their celluloid rivals, the Rapid City Monuments.
Those interested in participating must register at the web site www.
beinamovie.com.
The filming will run from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. that Saturday, but could be
rescheduled if it rains.
Anybody 14 or older can be an extra, but those under 18 must be accompanied
by an adult.
The extras won't be paid, but can win door prizes including a flat-screen TV
, celebrity autographs and other items. |
