A dark, overcast day.
The clouds' soul swallows mine.
I couldn't recall any memory.
A storm is about to gush out of my mind.
My thoughts are as messy as the mesh of
a broken web that tangles my brain.
The pomegranate tree's torches gutter.
The cardinal's songs come out of a muffler.
Suddenly, the sky cracks open.
A giant waterfall of light pours inside the dome.
A world that has faded in the haze of gray
comes back into brilliant color.
The light dulls the edge of my grief
just like it brightens the edge of a cloud.
Quickly the sky simplifies itself into
vibrant shades of blue, a beauty of nothing.
Inspired, a flower simplifies her petals into
the shapes of eyes that twinkle twilight.
The pomegranate tree's torches light up.
The cardinal's songs resonate a harp.
With fusion, without confusion,
the sun gives out all he can
from his vast reserve, without reservation.
To many, the sun is just another coin.
Give it a bite, give it a blow,
they will hear the sound of gold.
To me, the sun is the stove under nature.
He cooks one side and then
turns it over to the other side.
People call it day or night.
He does this over and over again,
never bored, never tired.
He heats up and glows everything.
He energizes the living being,
specially human who are running around
cluelessly like ants on a hot pan.
