离开家乡的时候，
我摘下一朵蒲公英，
小心藏好，带着它一起远行。
过了很多年，走了很多地方，
它一直跟在我的身旁。
终于有一天，我的生命逝于异乡，
它与我葬在了一起。
第二年，我的坟上长出很多蒲公英，
它们开花、结籽、成熟，
一阵风吹来，纷纷飘扬升空，
飞向我祖辈的国度。
Going Home
To LM
I am going home. My little angel
will greet me at the door
although she hasn't learnt how to walk.
She'll murmur "Pa, pa."
My baby can really talk.
I am going home. My wife
will stare at me in amazement,
standing by the window like a stony bust.
A hug is worth a thousand words.
I'll give one for each year that has passed.
I am going home. When I arrive,
I'll fix that leaking faucet.
It kept dripping day and night
like an hourglass.
I am going home. This journey
has taken much longer
after the vehicle veered off the course
toward the slope leading to the reservoir.
I took an accidental detour.
It has been sixteen years since.
How many hours has the hourglass counted?
I haven't arrive yet.
I am still on my way home.
