know there are not many people doing this in political science. Check out the
web pages of Scott Page, Ken Kollman, and Bob Axelrod of Umich and Scott De
marchi of Duke. Mostly it seems they do agent-based modeling of such things as
emergence of culture, tit-for-tat strategies etc. Scott Page and Kollman have
worked on more politically related topics. They have a complexity system
center in Michigan too that you may want

not in field of politics.
Do you know any political empirical study employing the chaos-inspired
methologyies like the deterministic chaos? is it possible to apply to chaos
methologies to empirically examine the policy formulation or implementation?
Economics, even institutional econ., and finance have succcessfully adopted
the physical-science-rooted determistic chaos methods for their research. I am

relevant: one on how political parties adapt their platforms, one on the
rotation of presidency in european union and its effects on policy
formulation. again, i'm speaking out of my ignorance---i haven't read the two
papers.
