conference call with the US Department of State (DOS) and the Student &
Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) office to discuss changes in the Student &
Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) related to the upcoming release
of version 5.4 of th

这是我从OIS收到的
如果我理解正确的话，新规定其实更苛刻了
你最多可以用J签证在美国待5年，这一点比三年好了一些
但是那个24-month bar和5 year window确严了很多
以前是可以回国一年后用J签证在过来，但必须总共在国内待两年
现在是回去就必须待两年
最关键的是，看样子只能做一次J1，因为5年是use or lose it
我的理解对吗
