制，根本受益不了这个计划的，咨询了学校的HR,说是服务期满了会转到其它plan,问题
是这种plan本来就是靠每月缴纳部分生存的，如果不在美国工作了，还搞什么plan?
现在学校的这个要求，是不是可以不交呢？如果硬要交，怎么办呢，每月5%也不是小数
目了。

generally, each time you put 5%, the school will match some to your account.
The amount of the match part depends on the school's policy. In some
unversity, I heard of around 10%, even 12%.
Definitely you have the right of not taking part in the retirement plan. It'
s not mandatory.

学校出的部分是8.2%，但是听说只要不够十年，学校这部分是不给个人的。而且学校HR
的意思是两个月内必须交，，难道真的是选择性的阿？
交保险时就显些给骗了，给张表以为是必须的，每月两个人要交200块，而且从来没听
说过这个医保公司。后来问了下，才知道有其他plan可选，选了HMO，感觉这个学校办
事真不地道，，很多人都以为没得选择，选了那个小公司的。

I would prefer not to take part in the retirement plan if it's not mandatory.
Different schools have different policy. In our university, one should work
for this school at least three years, otherwise the contributed part by
unversity will be deducted from the retirement account.
