In general, males are flexible and practical---they will consider your
application if they think you are worth using. On the contrast, females have

lab to only take people when they are starting their postdoctoral career...I

才会上班. 我是有信必回,虽然知道没戏. 就回信说:congratulation. 结果马上收到可

But when i want to argue more using this potential offer with another male
PI to demand a research assistant professor, I have not received his
response for 2 weeks...

，不想离现在的城市太远，但是发现可以申请的博后基本都要重头开始一个新领域。我
担心这样一个合同2年做完后还是没有足够的论文，不够资格申请有tenure的工作。但
是能怎么办呢。
大家同病相怜啊。

you not change your major so dramatically... I did not keep my post-doc
training in the same area and now only living a unstable life...
切记，教训！

发帖数: 996 | 26 谢谢！我也知道其中的道理，只是论文的东西做了３年了，都有要吐的感觉了。论文写
好了就到了出文章的时候了，如果换了方向肯定要重头开始。有人说就算我换了方向也
是做新老板感兴趣的东西，还不如跟着旧老板老老实实的干。也许有道理吧。要不我再
忍两年，看看情况再说。
