Seems like physics is a major with a better pay for a postdoc. What are you
complaining then? hehe
Many PhD students could afford a car easily--may not be a fancy new car. I
think a postdoc makes enough for a comfortable life for one. A little tough
to raise a family. |

same level of a ordinary R&D job, to say, 65k at least, as far as i know,
some of them get paid in 70k -80k
But complains from this guy may reflect concerns of postdocs in average. As
you said before, it's not about money. For money, go to somewhere else, but
not postdoc...
At least, that is the way it is, swallow it or change it.
Best way maybe enjoying it and use it as a ladder to a higher level. From

今天不爽，早上去walmart抢499的HDTV，没抢到，不去office了，在家写论文。
话说postdoc的工资一个人过还是挺舒服的。我也没啥想法了，好好做两年争取搞定身
份，再决定怎么走。

deal抢不完的，总会有，这中东西也只有降价没有涨价了。
