2 year repeat participation.

page 16-17) to confirm if you are subject to 212(e).
If you are not subect to 212(e), you still need get an advisory opinion, it
is very important.
When you file your I-485 in the future, you need submit this copy of
advisory opinion, or USCIS will deny your I-485 case if you don't have J
waiver approval notice.

发帖数: 9035 | 6 Im the previously, some Chinese EV thought they were not subject to 212(e),
after they sent request to DOS to get advisory opinion, DOS told them they
were suject to 212(e), most situation was US Consulate VO or your Institute
ARO made mistakes.
In your situation, you do need advisory opinion, you need send request
letter and attached all copies of DS-2019 to DOS waiver Review Devision (
detailed see page 16), it is free. It takes 4-6 weeks to get this opinion (
according to FAQ PDF file).
