1. Dr. XXX is applying for waiver so that he may complete his research at
the University of XXX before returning to China.
"before returning to China"是不是多余？
2. Thus, I strongly support Dr. XXX’s application for a J-1 waiver and the
change of his visa from J-1 to H-1 by the United States Citizenship and
Immigration Services.
我的合同明年8月31日到期，也不准备续。这样写有问题没?
3. Dr. XXX is not being funded by either the United States or Chinese
government, or any international organizations.
我的项目一部分是NSF支持，一部分是一个公司(支持学校拿了overhead)。这样写有
没问题?

最后那个NSF，如果是你申请的，你不能这么写not funded by us government；
如果是你老板的，没问题,你supported by your boss
