Project:
1. The objective of this R01 is to determine the roles of the crosstalk
of miR-378/378* with NRF, SORT1 and TNFα in regulating hepatic lipid
accumulation and the progression of NAFLD to NASH. The long-term goal is to
develop miR-378 anti-sense oligonucleotide as a therapeutic target for NAFLD
and NASH.
2. Preclinical trial of miR-24 for the treatment of hyperglycemia and
NAFDL
3. Preclinical trial of miR-26 for the treatment of NAFLD and liver
cancer.
