and proportion of the head relative to the image etc.
Then use marching squares or level set methods that extract the edge
of the hair. Harder if the hair has gray / non-gray etc.
Never done it before, but that's how people perform automatic
skull stripping on brain MRI images. But skull is usually very
tense. Hair could be a lot harder to deal with.
