两个都是超级长青树。
估计两个会买一堆小公司。
感觉IT 方兴未艾啊，很多东西才开始到big industry。 |

the market, who are capable of leveraging open source technologies and
create specialized solution for individual industry.
Big data is somewhat like Internet at 2000.

last laugh in the wave. Much like Google, Amazon etc. Though NeverLearn
would have told you Internet companies were all hype at 2000 too.

industry experience in advertising industry. And look at where they are
today.

相比这两家，walmart lab搞不好会出彩

我也只是猜它们可能会copy aws，其它的东西它们想copy的话，太难了
靠招人短时间内出一个什么os或者db，几乎不可能
但是copy aws还是可以成功的

服务未免还是有点远了

collect data via large amount of sensors in all GE's industrial businesses(
aviation, energy, medical...), then process them using internet way(store,
analysis, representation...).

，在里面就不会这样觉得了。
总结，GE不是个软件公司，别指望GE能短期内突破，买其他公司的做法是需要时间整合
