POSITION
Drive the design and delivery of a multi-tier SaaS product with web-based,
plugin-based, mobile-based clients. Contribute to the design of robust
applications that delight customers with 24/7 stability, performance,
scalability, monitoring and localization in mind. Work on all phases of
applications systems analysis activities with minimal instruction.
-Independently formulate and define software project scope and objectives
through research and fact-finding to develop or modify complex information
systems.
-Prepare detailed design specifications from which programs will be written
as necessary.
-Analyze and revise existing system logic difficulties and documentation as
necessary.
-Translate requirements and designs into both appropriate and robust Agile
User Stories with acceptance criteria.
-Work hand-in-hand with product owners, architects, usability team, senior
technologists and other Agile teams to achieve product delivery goals.
-Assist management with creating and maintaining 3rd party development
partner relationships.
-Establish priorities for stories with Product Owners and SCRUM masters.
-Generate innovative approaches and solutions to complex issues.
-Prepare use cases, requirements specifications, business rules, user
interface mock-ups, prototypes, storyboards, UML diagrams, data mapping and
other documentation as necessary for software development.
-Perform Project Management duties on small to medium complexity projects.
-Augment QA staff in validating software against product design.
-Assist product support group in resolving customer issues.
-Proactively generate relevant ideas for new and improved use of technology.
-Participate in development activities to continually learn and develop
technology, development, and business analysis skills.
-Minimal travel.
QUALIFICATIONS
-Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
-5+ years in the software industry with 3 or more years as a systems analyst
or technical business analyst with similar roles and responsibilities.
-Deep experience as a business analyst or systems analyst designing and
delivering multi-tier SaaS products with web-based, plugin-based, mobile-
based clients on the Microsoft C#/.NET/SQL Server technology stack.
-Must understand how SaaS applications work as well as understanding the
nuances when delivering applications in a C# .Net environment.
-Expert ability to design products with 24/7 stability, performance,
scalability, monitoring and localization requirements in mind.
-Prefer ability to correctly apply appropriate design patterns in the object
oriented world which align with products and market goals.
-Strong track record of appropriate designs as applied to release paradigms.
-Ability to work collaboratively with product owners, architects, senior
technologists, usability experts and other Agile team members to achieve
product delivery goals.
-Ability to influence peers and technical staff.
-Ability to quickly master several company's applications as well
as industry tools.
-Track record of successfully applying this knowledge to achieve business
goals.
-Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills. Effectively collaborate
with employees and external parties at all levels.
