Doubts, Regrets, and Despair
The alarm went off, and Lauren tried to find the snooze button. After several
clumsy attempts to hit it, she was too frustrated to drift back to sleep.
Already agitated, she found her first thoughts of the day unpleasant
ones--waking up feeling tired, dreading the morning routine of getting the
kids up and ready for school, wondering where she'd get the strength to get
