这个安全值是4以下。问题也是可以解决的，装一个排气系统就可以降下去。而且，在
我住的这个地方，一半的房子超标，只不过超过20的大概10%左右。从理性的角度来说
，我没有什么理由不买，可是从心理上，我只相信问题是存在的，可是我不相信问题是
可以解决的。犹豫了好久，一直不能下决心买，是不是我心里上有问题？ |

发帖数: 1648 | 3 this is a very normal feeling. buyer's remorse. I felt terrible after
agreeing my agent to go ahead to buy my current house. After 1 day, I
became ok.
Personally I don't think radon problem is the deciding point. Most radon mitigation system works very well these days.
And I didn't figure out the radon problem after moving in. I blame the
buyer agent who should have given me the suggestion. When A/C is turned off
in the house for a few days, radon level in the basement will be as high as
20+
I had to pay $700 installation fee myself for the radon mitigation system. now
the radon level is about 1

发帖数: 339 | 4 没有。只是我自己这么觉着。我本来不是一个积极乐观的人，看事情总是朝坏的一方面
想。这种性格我知道有时候很让人讨厌。就买房子这个事情本身来说，可能很多人都会
和我有同样的反应，多一事不如少一事，如果有选择的话，为啥不找个没这问题的房子
呢？我现在的犹豫主要是别的房子可能也会有，而且概率可能大于50%,只不过超过20的
可能不大。我想，如果这个测试值在10一下，我可能就没这么犹豫了，因为宾州的均值
是7.1.

top 10 percentile, even in the hot area where I live. Technically, there
should be no difference between a initial radon level of 25 and an initial
radon level of 5, as they can both be reduced to below 4 anyway after the
mitigation system is installed. However, for some reason I still feel there
is a difference. What if the system break down? What if the power if off?
What if there are some other radioactive gas from the earth beneath? As a
rational person, I understand that my suspection are not grounded by
scientific facts or even common sense, but sometimes I believe there are too
much in the world that can not be explained by science or human knowledge.
This is why I ask whether I have phycho prolems--am I too pesmistic, or just
paranoid?
