least, a client can tell the counselor what you want from therapy. You can
directly tell the counselor that you want to be happier. Actually, in the US
, happiness is the important part of people's philosophy. Think about the
preamble of the Declaration of Independence, it says: "...with certain
unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of
Happiness. ..."
