to being developers at "real" financial firms like IBs and hedge funds. It
's difficult to say if it makes it easier to transition into finance...
Bloomberg is more of an information services company than financial company.
However, the perks there are pretty good, or so I heard. There were already
some threads discussing working there; you might want to do a search on
this board.

After the training, you will have to choose which group you want to join. If
your performance in the training class is good enough, you will get what
you want. Otherwise you may end up joining a group that has almost nothing
to do with finance, e.g. news group. Besides the 2-month IT training,
Bloomberg offers finance classes after hours. The classes are very
fundamental, but you can still learn a lot. If you end up in a group that is
very related to finance, e.g. int

想我半年前从船舶学校本科毕业时也拿到Interview，结果没及时在网上Sign up就被错
过了。
还有请问MFE毕业后Bloomberg是不是也可以成为一个选择（当然不是首选）？ | G*****y
