NEW YORK (AP) -- Stocks rose after another round of improved earnings
reports and higher energy prices boosted expectations for the economy.
Investors set aside some concerns Tuesday about a potential overhaul of
financial regulation and civil fraud charges levied against Goldman Sachs.
