题。希望各位牛人不介意我再问一下。
我申请了Columbia Math in Finance(in Math department), NYU Master of
Financial Math and CMU MSCF. 我申请的是part-time program. 他们都给admission
了。我希望能参考一下各位牛人的意见，做一个理智的选择。我有一个应用数学的硕士
。我想念完这个program,将来能向trading上靠一靠。
1。弱弱的问一下，各位认为现在还有必要再花钱读吗？Columbia 最便宜，也要$40k.
NYU 要$50k. CMU 要$80k. 我虽然工作了几年，但是出这末多钱还是有些吃力，尤其是
CMU.
2. 我比较了一下他们的课程。我个人认为（很有可能是错的）Columbia的课程有些单
一。我周围的人对它的评价似乎不是特别好。NYU的课程似乎很数学。其中有几门还是
我挺感兴趣的。比如说optimzation和PDE。CMU的课程看起来好像很广，cover了很多
finance上 |

你想做吹腚，这些数学也没太大用。另外你应数出身，这点数学对你也不算啥。
所以把NYU也去掉吧。

CMU: good program, expensive, and nowadays the profile of students is very
mixed. I feel the school is trying the cash out the reputation by charging
high tuition and admitting as many whatever students as possible. The
reputation is very likely to decline in the future. Still, you can benefit
from the network of the older generation of successful alumni and they have
very good relationship with companies like db.
Columbia: the math finance program is not as good as their financial
