上找到我，说可以去面试面试BB，待遇很好，第一年15万底薪再加5万保证的奖金，听
着很心动，最主要是他们说职位是与trading和金融相关的，我觉得挺感兴趣的,而且1.
猎头说工资上升空间很大，现在的公司工资奖金加起来也差不多他说的数，不过差不
多到顶了，除非跳出纯技术的路线；2. 猎头还说可以试试hedge fund，做HFT
听说金融trading hedge fund 工作很有趣很challenge, 觉得也许应该试试
不过现在工作也挺忙的，猎头说要抽时间好好准备准备，呵呵，不知道值不值得，俺还
攒着假期准备回国呢。先谢过了！ |

知识
这个bonus很高吗？金融的都应该不低吧？我们破软件公司也差不多平均30%，有些年份
可以40%或者更高？现在真是钱不值钱了
另外我喜欢纽约大城市，呵呵

发帖数: 1912 | 7 30% bonus is not bad at all. I don't think bbg ppl get 30% bonus in avg. For
most of its employees,bloomberg is just a software company which has
nothing to do with finance (life style, money etc). I think most IT ppl in
banks (junior to mid) make around 10% to 30% bonus.
HFT hedge fund is a totally different story. You can make quite a lot if
your are hardcore developer since you are part of business

great. it's because they are a monopoly. everybody use bloomberg on wall
street. they have so much money they don't know how to spend it.

我怎么听说的是都想往外跑呢
没人拿bloomberg的data当正经来用
他们没事就自己generate一个last from bid, last from ask
你要是拿这些quote去做trade，怎么死都不知道
bloomberg一般都是做个backup，或者下点历史数据而已
拿来做trading的quote，reuters都比bloomberg强很多,那才叫贵
如果直接去拿exchange来的quote，那就更贵的离谱
bloomberg的价钱都是小毛毛雨

发帖数: 2932 | 13 PLEASE do NOT spread misled informaiton. The work-life of most positions is
NOT easy at all. Some of them are even quite misrable, for example,
derivative team in tradebook and some fix-income team. Some of new
departments are relax like quant because not much pressure of making profit.
Last year, quite some good dev left for FLG-like firms, so they raised the
average compensation of dev. Some of senior ppl could get 200k (base+bonus),
and 150K base is not rare for experienced hiring. The number is not bad.
But the technology used in the firm is quite exclusive. In other word, you
are less likely accumulate marketable tech skills in BBG which could be used
in other firm.
BBG as a whole are quite profitable, so usually no massive layoff due to
cutting cost. But they DO lay off ppl, even they claim they never did.

know it more depends on you living standard. You could find more reasonable

头就行，我这周都work from home 3天了，HR是谁都不知道。 BBG 的work life
balance很不错。
