in downtown NYC for a Quantitative Analyst.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the execution of data-driven analytical opportunities that
significantly improve profitability, financial and risk management controls.
This position requires data analysis, cleansing and reporting to support
predictive modeling. Responsibilities include large data manipulation,
running various statistical models and strategy implementation.
Additional responsibilities include:
• Support existing statistical models in production.
• Improve existing codes to create greater efficiencies and quality
control.
• Develop code to support new opportunities for predictive modeling
and data analysis
• Creatively and rigorously apply statistical data analysis
techniques to a wide range of problems
• Build reports to defend proposed solutions
KILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: :
• MS/PhD degree in Statistics, Math, Engineering or Hard Science.
• Ability to develop internal client relationships
• Ability to rigorously apply statistical models for financial
problems
• Strong interest in working with data in a scientific environment
• Knowledge of financial derivatives and risk management
