technology issue" at its market-making business affected trading of about
150 stocks. Volatile action had prompted a halt in trading for some NYSE
issues. The NYSE said it's reviewing trades in 148 stocks that occurred
between 9:30 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. ET. Reports said computer-based trading
appeared to cause huge volume and big price moves in certain stocks. |

任何自动机都不能保证万无一失。
这件事神奇在人工 monitor 是干什么的呢，
它这也不是一个大单搞出的损失，
发现异常1分钟内关机就没这事了。
自动机只要在运行中，
每分每秒都是有人盯着的，
对各种突发情况也都是有预案的，
如地震，停电，断网，恐怖攻击等

I think it might be that they are in and out quickly, the size of the total
was not horrendously big.
