I see Citic hiring a quant for its alternative investment in Beijing. Does

salary here, and horrible long hours.
besides of that, your compensation will largely depend on how eager you want
to return to china. i.e., the more eager you want to return, the harder to
negotiate the offer, and the less you will get. To offset the credit risk of
your offer, you'd better hold green card or US citizenship.
I know a few big cow returnees already returned to US recently.
as usual, bad offer always comes with huge potential (or at least hopefully)
. I wish you more successful than those returned losers.
