This hedge fund group seeks a Vice President of Private Equity for its China
Private Equity Strategy Group in the Shanghai or Hong Kong office. The
Vice President of Private Equity will play an integral role in developing
the firm's presence throughout East Asia. Duties include leading the
execution, structuring, and negotiation of deals with a focus on capturing
superior risk-adjusted returns.
The candidate will have four to six years of relevant business experience
with a focus on principal investing, private equity, or M&A investment
banking, in addition to an outstanding record of professional achievement.
A proven track record of successful relationship management is strongly
preferred. The ability to speak, read, and write Mandarin fluently and
familiarity with Chinese business practices are required.
2. Junior Equities Proprietary Trader for Shanghai or Hong Kong
This hedge fund group is seeking to train motivated individuals to trade in
a variety of systematic (computerized) and fundamental investment strategies
in its Shanghai or Hong Kong offices. Strong quantitative/numerical and
analytical abilities, extraordinary communication, negotiation, and
interpersonal skills, and an exceptional sensitivity to detail are essential
. The candidate will have an outstanding academic record from a top a top-
tier university, and a high level of computer literacy; preferably some
coding experience. 1-3 years of direct prior experience on a trading desk,
ideally with some exposure to equities, is preferred. Proven interest and
experience in Asia (language, life, work) is a plus.
