1.QA Tester / Automation Engineer in a NYC bank
Job Description
We are seeking for an experienced QA Analyst / Automation Engineer who has
around 3-5 years of experience. The resource will be responsible for
functional and automation tasks associated with respective LOB. Candidate
should be capable of designing and building tests, automated test leveraging
automation tools, custom APIs for new and existing projects.
Responsibilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
• Good knowledge of testing concepts, verification and validation
techniques, defect management (Jira/CODE), quantitative methods and
measurement programs.
• Define, document, implement and review test criteria for assigned
components
• Preparation of test plans and scripts to ensure full coverage of the
applications
• Ability to analyze results and efficiently communicating these back
to the development team
• Build, maintain, and extend regression and automation test suites
• Experience developing customized applications using Python
connecting to Relational Databases is a plus.
Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree or Equivalent

2.Sr QA Analyst / QA Lead in NYC bank
Job Description:
This is the lead QA role for Zinc GMPP within Global Markets. This person
will take responsibility for the delivery and execution of QA strategy for
the application, involving management and oversight of the overall QA team.
Zinc GMPP (Global Markets Provisioning Point) is the Authorized Data Store
(ADS) for Global Markets Traded Products. It is a data repository and
associated data services containing trades & positions, PL explain and
derived risk results and supports Front Office desk risk, regulatory
programs such as Volcker, IMM, UMR and xVA, and Enterprise Risk & Control
functions.
Responsibilities:
- Leads QA strategy and execution for Zinc GMPP
- Development of QA standards, procedures and best practices
- Manages a global QA team driving hiring and talent management
- Works directly with the development and BA teams
- Partners with cross business functional QA programs and teams
- Builds, maintains, and extends regression, automation and performance test
suites
- Define, document, implement and review test criteria for assigned
components
- Ability to analyze results and efficiently communicating these back to the
development team
Qualifications
- 5-7 years experience in testing of applications covering UI, services,
reporting, ETL and databases
- A track record delivering QA solutions via automation
- Working knowledge of testing concepts, verification and validation
techniques, defect management tools, quantitative methods and measurement
programs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with quick adaptation to
new technologies, methodologies, and systems
- Prior experience working within a global agile-based development and QA
team
- Expertise with testing and automation tools
- Knowledge of SQL and python
- Knowledge of Excel or similar analytical tool
- Knowledge of financial services and Global Markets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science
