Add Starbucks to the list of corporate giants who insist on marriage
equality in Washington state.
Executives with the $10-billion company based in Seattle released a
statement late Tuesday in support of a legislative effort to make Washington
the seventh state plus the District of Columbia where marriage is legal for
same-sex couples.
Starbucks joins other companies headquartered in the state such as Microsoft
in backing the bill, which has reached critical mass of support in the
house and senate. Gov. Chris Gregoire has said she will sign the bill into
law.
Out of state companies including Google, Nike, and Alcoa have also pledged
their support.
“This important legislation is aligned with Starbucks business practices
and upholds our belief in the equal treatment of partners,” wrote Kalen
Holmes, Starbucks executive vice president of partner resources. “It is
core to who we are and what we value as a company.”

Washington State legislation recognizing marriage equality for same-sex
couples. Starbucks strives to create a company culture that puts our

This important legislation is aligned with Starbucks business practices and

for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) employees in the U.S.,

所以星巴克是约人初次见面的好地方。
随处都有，容易找到双方都方便的地点，
不用花太多钱，进可攻，退可守。
满意可以马上邀请饭局进一步接触，
不满意喝完可以马上告辞又不失礼。
只是我没有喝咖啡的习惯，去了就点绿茶。haha

tax. Get their membership card on which you can get reward for drinking.

Amazon. I like Senseo machine because no matter the flavor of the coffee, it
always gives you the nice frothy aromatic crema on top the cup. Coffee
pods are typically about 30-40 cents per each which can make a decent 10 oz
cup coffee--the machine allows you to make stronger coffee by selecting the
amount of water for the cup. |
