Project Update #9: CONGRATULATIONS BRIDEGROOM BACKERS! WE MADE KICKSTARTER
HISTORY!

Just 30 days ago, we announced our dream of turning Shane and Tom’s story
into a full-length documentary. Thousands of you from all over the world
have responded, taking a stand against bigotry and hatred and helping us
reach and even exceed our fundraising goal. This would not have been
possible without all of you standing together. This truly is your film-- the
people’s film. And now your support has led to Bridegroom becoming the
most funded film project in the history of Kickstarter! Amazing!
And we are even more proud that our documentary, which was born from Shane’
s original YouTube video, would end up being funded by the power of the
people on Kickstarter. Please know that this film will represent anyone who
has ever been judged, condemned or ostracized for being who they are and
loving who they love. We believe everyone deserves equal rights and
Bridegroom will seek to play a pivotal role in bringing these rights to not
only all Americans, but to people all over the world.
We will start production immediately, doing interviews, as well as traveling
to Shane’s and Tom’s respective home states of Montana and Indiana. And
we will do whatever we can to insure that Bridegroom premieres this fall, in
mid to late October.
We will also, within a few weeks, be emailing you instructions regarding
your rewards (t-shirt size, photo for mosaic logo, e-mail & mailing address,
etc.) For now, please enjoy some of the favorite comments we have received
from you during this campaign. (posted below)
