发帖数: 19713 | 1 Wyoming to Consider Marriage Equality, Nondiscrimination Bills
In Wyoming, one of the more conservative states in the nation, legislators
are scheduled to hear testimony next week on three LGBT rights bills,
including one for marriage equality.
Bills for marriage equality, domestic partnerships, and nondiscrimination
have just been introduced, according to the National Center for Lesbian
Rights. The House Corporations Committee will hear testimony on the first
two Monday, and if the committee approves one or both, they will move to a
vote by the full House in a few days. The Senate Judiciary Committee will
hear testimony on the nondiscrimination bill Wednesday.
NCLR, the Human Rights Campaign, and Wyoming Equality are working together
in the effort to get the legislation passed, and votes are expected to be
