就，是否多多少少都有些affirmative action的成分在里面呢？

And some don't -- especially since there were good black authors way before
the civil right movement.
p.s. There used to be white traders and trappers living among Indians. Many
of these were French men who married Indian women. So today it's not rare to
see a Native American with a French surname. Alexie could be one of these.

However, after civil right movement and PC movement, they are
largely over-estimated.

with the oppurtunities given by Affirmative
Action, the minorities still achieve far
less than caucasians, and it's no surprise,
just look at the lives of typical inner
city black kids: lack of parental care, lack
of comfort and safety, lack of respectable
influences. I'm not here to pity their
lives, one need to see for themselves and be
fair, ----Affirmative Action is not enough
to reverse years of oppression and crime
that has shaped a society, it is to

about how strange your opinion appears to me, you yourself
is a minority in this country, if it were not for the fact
that you've had higher education and thus privileged, you'll
need to struggle for everything just the same way.
